Tana Pujals is Brazilian - born in 1953, she has, for almost 20 years, been living in Argentina. A lover of animals and pen sketching, she has managed to combine these two passions into amazing creations.

Her career began, in truth, with thoroughbred race horses, and spending time working with nib and ink. After a period of taking classes with the Uruguayan Juan Storm School of art and a teacher García-Torres, in Montevideo, she continued her studies in Buenos Aires specializing with Susana Dominguez. Then she was invited to exhibit in a group of the Association of SPC, where she met Enrique Castro, one of the country's most prestigious animal painters

Her work is highly valued in many countries of South America, North American, including The United States, all over Europe and Egypt, where pets are so important that they share ancestors with family art gallery. Tana Pujals who loves all animals, especially horses has shown her work in Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Europe.

After her return from Zambia where she had the extraordinary privilege of photographing and drawing some of that countries rare species, she also had the opportunity to experience day to day life of the African wildlife. In 2009 an exhibition at the Gallery El Socorro, in Buenos Aires showed in great detail the stunning reality of that great land and her experiences – experiences that will be a focal point of her work for years to come.
